“Serious Lees” is a warm, light-hearted dramedy short film, which follows a father and daughter who together are on the same side of ‘otherness’ within their own culture. Set in Toronto, Ontario, the duo discovers that nothing puts your identity, self-worth, and family to the test like going to the Chinese supermarket, but it’s a journey they are determined to take.
